Not at all. Most of my clients say exactly that. I’ll ask you a few simple questions about your business and take it from there. You don’t need to know anything about websites — that’s my job.

Will my website show up on Google?

Yes. Every site I build is set up with the basics to help Google find and index it — things like page titles, meta descriptions, and fast loading speeds. I can’t guarantee you’ll rank first overnight (anyone who tells you that is lying), but you’ll be properly set up from day one.

How long will it take?

A standard 5-page site typically takes around 2 weeks from the point we agree on the design direction and you’ve sent me your content (text and photos). I’ll give you a realistic timeline before we start.

What do I need to provide?

Ideally, some photos of your work and a rough idea of what you want to say. If you’re not sure on the words, I can help with that too. If you don’t have great photos, I can use high-quality stock images as a placeholder while you get some taken.

What happens after the site is live?

You get 30 days of free tweaks after launch — if you want to change a photo, update your pricing, or tweak any text, just drop me a message. After that, small changes are quick and cheap, and I can set you up with a maintenance plan if you’d prefer someone to keep an eye on things.

Do I need to pay for hosting?

Yes, hosting & domain registration are ongoing annual costs — but they’re usually around £100-150 a year combined, which I can manage for you. I’ll explain exactly what you’re paying for & make sure it’s straightforward.
