I collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it through the contact or enquiry forms on this website. The data collected may include:

I collect this data solely to respond to your enquiry, provide you with a quote for my services, & communicate with you about potential or ongoing work. I do not use this data for any other purpose.

Microsoft UET (Universal Event Tracking): I use Microsoft Advertising's UET tag to measure the effectiveness of my advertising campaigns on the Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) network. When you consent to advertising cookies, this tag may collect information about your visit including pages viewed, time spent on site, & whether you completed a form submission. This data is sent to Microsoft & processed under their privacy policy. You can opt out of personalised advertising from Microsoft at about.ads.microsoft.com.

How I store your data

Personal data submitted through enquiry forms is stored in my email inbox & may be transferred to a CRM or project management tool for the purpose of managing client relationships. Data is stored on secure, encrypted platforms provided by third-party processors (such as email & hosting providers).

I retain enquiry data for up to 24 months from the date of your last communication with me, after which it is deleted unless we have entered into a service agreement. If we work together as client & developer, I retain project-related data for the duration of our working relationship & for up to 6 years afterwards to comply with UK tax & accounting obligations.

Who I share your data with

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

Your data may be processed by the following categories of third-party service providers, solely for the purposes described above:

Email service providers (for receiving & responding to enquiries)
Hosting providers (for serving this website)
Advertising platforms (Microsoft Advertising, & Google Ads if applicable) — only aggregated, anonymised conversion data, & only with your cookie consent

All third-party processors are bound by their own data protection obligations. I do not share your personal data with any party for their own marketing purposes.
