WordPress, done properly.

New WordPress sites, and moves off Wix and Squarespace. Built lean, on a custom theme, without the pile of plugins and page-builder weight that leaves most WordPress sites slow.

Most WordPress sites are slow for the same reason.

They are held together with thirty plugins, a bought theme, and a page builder that loads hundreds of kilobytes of code before a word of content appears. The people who have to update them are scared to touch anything.

A custom theme, no page builder, and an editor your team is happy to use.

I build the theme from scratch, with editor blocks shaped around your actual content, nothing loaded that you do not need, and no reliance on a paid plugin you can never leave. Fast hosting, automatic backups, and security handled.

How it works

  • 01

    Audit

For a migration, I review the current site and map the content. For a new build, we scope the structure and pages.

  • 02

    Design

Theme design with editing in mind, so the blocks match how you actually publish.

  • 03

    Build

Custom theme, plugins kept to a minimum, performance checked at every stage.

  • 04

    Launch

A cutover with no downtime, a session on editing it, and then the keys are yours.

Questions

  • Can you migrate me from Wix or Squarespace?

Yes, both regularly. The content moves over, the addresses redirect, and the search rankings survive. Most migrations take two to three weeks.

  • Do you build with Elementor?

No. Elementor is the reason a lot of WordPress sites are slow. I build a custom theme with the standard block editor, which gives your team the same flexibility for a fraction of the page weight.

  • Will my SEO survive a migration?

Yes, that is the point of doing it properly. Old addresses redirect, structured data is rebuilt, and titles are checked against the audit. Sites I migrate usually rank better afterwards because they load faster.
